cannot see network adapters in the cli of cumulus-vx

I am running cumulus-vx in virtualbox and i configured 4 adapters of the cumulus vm from gui of virtualbox. But when i go to cli of cumulus-vx , i can only see eth0 and l0. But ,it should show other adapters. Here are the pics

"ifconfig" will only show adaptors that are up and configured. If you want to see un-configured interfaces, use the "ifconfig -a" or "ip link" commands.

A-ha! I hit this as well. You need to enable the switch port interfaces now (and then quagga).
