ipv6 addresses on dummy0/lo don't get announced by ospf6, if route-map active

I discovered the above mentioned bug: the "routing on the host" quagga does not announce ipv6 prefixes configured on dummy0 or lo, if a route-map is configured for redistribution under ospf6.

If I configure "redistribute connected" instead, the prefixes get announced as intended.

If I configure the prefixes on anonther interface like bond0.123, it gets announced as intended.

The stock Ubuntu quagga does not have this bug.

Please let me know, if you need any further information. Any workaround or other hint would really be appreciated.

Thanks for bringing this to us. I have passed this on to the developers to take a look at.

Jan can you send us the following from quagga where X:X::X:X/M is the IP on your loopback?
  • show run
  • show ipv6 route X:X::X:X/M
  • show bgp ipv6 unicast X:X::X:X/M

I've just sent the requested information to support@cumulusnetworks.com and got CS #3266. Instead of "show bgp ipv6 unicast" I've attached "show ipv6 ospf6 route", because this is an ospf issue.

Another remark: I was able to work around this issue by adding the dummy interface to ospf6 configuration.
